Women’s Aid Federation Northern Ireland, a regional NGO, wanted a complete redesign of their existing site. Whilst it won an award when first developed, the old site had become outdated. They wanted a new website that reflected their position as the lead agency on domestic violence in Northern Ireland. It should be a portal for seeking help and information and be accessible from a range of devices.
Working with a partner (McNamee Consulting), we developed a solid information architecture and content strategy. LadyGeekGeek built a bespoke responsive WordPress website. This included a members only area, publications database, online donations, email subscription service, embedded videos, social network integration and custom Google Maps.
